CHARLOTTE, N.C. (June 10, 2024) – TIH, the fifth largest insurance brokerage in the U.S., today announced that it has appointed Mike Conway, an accomplished global finance and operations executive with over 30 years of experience leading large, complex business organizations, as Chief Financial Officer effective June 10.
In his new role, Conway will provide both strategic and operational leadership to TIH, not only in the financial arena but also across all aspects of the company’s business. Functionally, he will oversee the company’s financial operations, including financial planning, accounting and controls, treasury and tax strategy.

Conway joins the TIH team from another leading insurance brokerage firm, where he served as Chief Accounting Officer & Corporate Controller. In that position, he was responsible for delivering better control, efficiency, and transparency into the organization’s finance operation through such measures as systems implementations, data standards, M&A finance modeling and integration, and the cost-saving redesign of company-wide financial processes. Prior to that role, Conway spent 13 years with Thomson Reuters, rising to the positions of CFO-Asia, CFO-Global Sales and Service, and Global Head of Sales Operations, Learning & Effectiveness.
Conway earned his MBA from New York University’s Stern School of Business, graduating Magna Cum Laude, and his undergraduate degree in business administration from the State University of New York at Buffalo.
